Learn to dive deeper safely with Manta Lodge.  As Brisbane's' only SSI Technical facility our instructors specialize in teaching deep diving techniques.  In your SSI deep diving course you'll learn how to safely plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40m utilizing optimized nitrox mixes.

Go beyond your standard deep diver course and learn advanced techniques such as:

 - Advanced buoyancy and trim techniques

 - Rigging, storing and deploying a surface marker in current

 - Rigging, carrying and utilising a bailout bottle 

 - Learn about optimized gases and how to make your deep diving safer

Prerequisites:

• Min age 15yrs old
• Nitrox certification (can be done at same time as deep)

• Tanks/weights
• Nitrox fills (membrane only)
• 4 boat dives
• Deep diver certification

• Accommodation
• Ferry

• Day 1 - Theory, Dives 1&2
• Day 2 - Dives 3&4

Upon certification, divers will be qualified to conduct non-decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40m using optimized nitrox mixes up to 40% oxygen to maximize bottom time.
