This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit. You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving. You will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.
What to expect
- Meet at 7am to go through paperwork & theory.
- At about 8am you will go to the pool to complete confined skills.
- From 10:30 you will depart the pool, return to Manta Lodge to prepare for the dive and then have a lunch break.
- Meet for 2x training dives from 11:45 am and return to land at about 4pm.
