The SSI Extended Range foundations program is designed as both "primer" course for students wishing to complete technical dive training and also as a workshop for certified technical divers who would like to practice fundamental skills with an instructor.

All training is conducted in a confined water environment with your SSI Technical Extended Range instructor where you will practice and master fundamental technical diving skills including:

 - Buoyancy

 - Propulsion techniques

 - Twinset/Sidemount cylinder carrying  

 - Stage handling

 - Emergency skills

 - Situational awareness/team diving

You'll follow this up with 2 boat dives to practice your skills in a real world environment.

Inclusions:

- All training, pool costs, technical equipment, tanks and weights, 2 x boat dives.

Exclusions

 - Mask, snorkel, fins, exposure system

 - Ferry transfers

Prerequisites:

 - SSI Open water diver or equivalent

 - 24 logged dives

 - Sidemount diver certification (if planning on using a sidemount configuration)
